InternetSoft Corporation offers several FTP Commander versions; we looked at the deluxe version, which offers the best features.

Overall this product has some excellent FTP tools and performs secure transfers quite well, including SSH type transfers, implicit/explicit SSL, TLS, PGP and more. It also supports a wide variety of 128–bit and 256–bit encryption algorithms including Triple DES, TwoFish, Blowfish, AES and Serpent type standards. Additionally it employs a variety of transfer verification checks including MD5 and SHA. As a matter of fact, this program can run nearly as many verification checks as SmartFTP.

Besides security, this FTP software application also excels in a few other categories, including the ability to compare and synchronize local and remote directories. It can also automatically compress files and is gzip compatible.

In general, FTP Commander Deluxe includes secure transfer abilities and a good set of user tools, but could use more support, since they only offer an email form and a user manual.
